The dance conservatory explores possibility of column free floor plans without mega-structure. Slanted void not only drives the main concept but also ties all building systems together. The void also cuts each level into different layouts to allow flexible dance conservatory program needs. Exterior boundaries are pushed into the building to provide bigger outdoor space to accommodate dancer’s lifestyle.
